Cindy is a 5 year old little girl who is learning to overcome her abusive background. (both sexual and physical) With each passing day she becomes more of a strong willed leader. She craves attention and loves to play mom to the other kids. She is always a big help when it comes to bath time, dinner, or any time something needs done. We continue to pray her leadership skills will be used for Jesus one day.
Maryuri (Marjuri)
Birthday: June 30, 2004
Maryuri is a 3 year old little girl who came to us a year ago unable to even walk due to atrophied muscles. While she was in government care she laid in a crib all day every day and so was basically unresponsive when she arrived. She has definitely overcome her abusive background as she now runs all over the house. She has spent the past few months developing a vocabulary and talking more with each passing day. She also now sings…and it’s enough to make you want to fall on your knees and worship when you hear that sweet little voice. Maryuri is a full figured little one…complete with a roly poly tummy. She loves to eat and also loves to swing on our swing set.
